The main point of the article is to persuade people into believing that capitalism is the blame for mother earths failure. The author tells us about the Kyoto Protocol and giving ideas as to how global warming can be stopped or at least handled. I believe that he supports the communist side because he wants equal rights for all and he believe that the way we do things(Industrialization) is only harming the planet we live on.
