Aztec Perceptions
HW #8-What is your perception on Aztec culture? An Empire that was the most advanced in the Americas or A political system built on systematic terror tactics and brutality? OR Both? OR Neither?
i believe that the Aztec culture was the most advanced, because they figured out how to farm on a mountain top, and how to use gold they are more advanced then many other Indian culture. although you can also argue that Aztec culture is also a political system built on terror tactics because of the many brutal things you see happening in their history. Although they were very brutal they had the most advanced society
I think the Aztec culture was one of the most important thing because she had a unique development, set places and took political control of the capital Tenochtitlan, and this culture was based primarily on the strength of his army. maybe the Aztecs was the most advanced, part of which was more important than the Incas.
I think that the Aztec culture was advanced for its time. It had an elaborate government and society that consisted of four classes. The four classes were nobles, commoners, serfs, and slaves. The dress was an important part of Aztec religion and daily life. The Aztecs were a very advanced civilization for their time and through religious beliefs, government involvement, and family life they lived a full and productive life.
Questions like this always deserve answers like, "It depends on which point of view," but from mine, I would say they were a mix of everything. They may have started off strong and cultural, then they were not taken seriously so Aztecs became a political system and then brutalized. It all was in a time line and order. There was a beginning then an end, and between it all many things took place.
The Aztec culture was both the most advanced and was a political built upon systematic and brutality because for one, they were able to built beautiful cities, farm on such high lands and they used gold in suits, and buildings. They also had a political system that was brutal because there was a barter system that separated who was on top from those who were in the bottom.
The Aztec were both technologically advanced and a political group of terror because of the traces that they have left behind. They were an advanced empire because the techniques that they used for cultivating was so advanced and not seen often during the time they were existent. They were also a political empire os terror because that was how their empire expanded; through defeat and terror.
